The Pine Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Franklinton Demons to 48 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 15-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albany for a 3A District 7 contest on Friday, February 2. Pine will meet a Hornets team coming off a 56-54 league win over Amite (Amite, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 19-9.

The Demons (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Loranger (Loranger, LA). The Wolves enter the 4A District 8 contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Loranger nudged Salmen (Slidell, LA), 63-56, in a league contest.
