North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Glenbrook Apaches (Minden, LA), 37-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North DeSoto upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Griffins travel to Bossier (Bossier City, LA) to play the Bearkats in a 4A District 1 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bearkats go into the bout with a record of 18-11.

Next up, the Apaches play the Plain Dealing Lions (Plain Dealing, LA) in a 1A District 1 bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Glenbrook will attempt to move on its 1-17 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 2-19 record after their 80-32 league loss to Ringgold (Ringgold, LA).
