Virginia High School Basketball - Goochland overwhelmed by Orange County

The Orange County Fighting Hornets basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Goochland Bulldogs to 53 in the Fighting Hornets league victory on Thursday.
The Fighting Hornets now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisa County for a Jefferson contest on Friday, February 2. Orange County will battle a Lions team coming off a 51-50 non-league win over Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Lions record now stands at 6-13.
The Bulldogs (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos come into the Jefferson contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Fluvanna County was routed by Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 49-42, in a league contest.
