The Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), 70-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Pirates (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Manila (Manila, AR). The Lions go into the 3A Region 3 test with a 12-15 record. In their last test, Manila was trounced by Corning (Corning, AR), 71-65, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 10-21 record. They play next when they travel to Hoxie for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Ridgefield Christian will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 79-46 league loss to Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-15.
