The Woodlawn Bears (Rison, AR) basketball felled the visiting Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR), 76-59 in Thursday's league test.
The Bears (16-7) will now prepare for their test against Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR). The Trojans go into the 2A Region 8 test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Parkers Chapel went down by Junction City (Junction City, AR), 76-43, in a league test.
The Go-Devils now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they host Ouachita for a 2A Region 8 test on Tuesday, February 6. Gurdon will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 74-32 league win over Rison (Rison, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 13-15.
