The Hermitage Hermits basketball team (Hermitage, AR), was overwhelmed 74-47 in Thursday's league battle with the host Nevada Blue Jays (Rosston, AR)
The Blue Jays now possess a 25-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampton for a 1A Region 8 battle on Friday, February 2. Nevada will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-69 league loss to Emerson (Emerson, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-9.
The Hermits (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Emerson (Emerson, AR). The Pirates come into the 1A Region 8 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Emerson trounced Hampton (Hampton, AR), 73-69, in a league battle.
