The Prairie View Academy Spartans basketball team (Bastrop, LA), was overwhelmed 81-17 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Hillcrest Christian Cougars (Jackson, MS)
The Cougars now possess a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prentiss Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 6. Hillcrest Christian will confront a Saints team coming off a 48-33 non-league loss to Laurel Christian (Laurel, MS). The Saints record now stands at 1-9.
The Spartans (14-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lamar Christian (Purvis, MS). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 22-7 record. In their last battle, Lamar Christian trounced Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS), 39-35, in a non-league battle.
