Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), 58-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Rahway upgrades its record to 7-14 on the season. The Indians travel to Weequahic (Newark, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 4. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 10-10. Weequahic won 65-60 in their recent non-league bout against University (Newark, NJ)

Next up, the Comets play the Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Hillside will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 40-33 league win over Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ).
