Kansas High School Basketball - Pleasanton topples Jayhawk Linn

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Pleasanton Blu-Jays (Pleasanton, KS) basketball squad beat the visiting Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks (Mound City, KS), by a count of 56-44.

The Blu-Jays (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Chetopa (Chetopa, KS). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 0-11 record. In their last outing, Chetopa was topped by Southeast (Cherokee, KS), 2-0, in a league outing.

The Jayhawks now hold a 4-10 record. They play next when they host St. Paul for a Three Rivers outing on Friday, February 2. Jayhawk Linn will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 57-45 league loss to Altoona-Midway (Buffalo, KS). The Indians record now stands at 1-14.
