Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA), 65-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Unionville upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Coatesville (Coatesville, PA) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Coatesville won 61-44 in their recent league bout against Henderson (West Chester, PA)

Next up, the Blue Demons play the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA) in a Ches-Mont - American bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Kennett will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 52-47 non-league win over Church Farm (Paoli, PA).
