The Webb Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish to 52 in the Spartans league victory on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baylor for a Division II-AA East contest on Saturday, February 3. Webb will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 59-56 league win over Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN). The Red Raiders record now stands at 16-3.

The Fighting Irish (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against McCallie (Chattanooga, TN). The Blue Tornado come into the Division II-AA East contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, McCallie was defeated by Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, KS), 65-49, in a non-league contest.
