The Lanesboro Burros basketball team (Lanesboro, MN), was toppled 73-59 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Southland Rebels (Adams, MN)
The Rebels now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingsland for a A Section 1 battle on Friday, February 2. Southland will confront a Knights team coming off a 84-66 league win over Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN). The Knights record now stands at 13-3.
The Burros (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN). The Superlarks come into the A Section 1 battle with a 1-18 record. In their last battle, Grand Meadow was toppled by Houston (Houston, MN), 71-28, in a league battle.
