In Thursday's non-league outing, the St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN), by a count of 84-38.
The Cyclones (11-9) will now prepare for their outing against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN). The Buccaneers go into the AA Section 2 outing with a 7-9 record. In their last outing, Blue Earth was crushed by Waseca (Waseca, MN), 76-61, in a league outing.
The Mavericks now hold a 3-18 record. They play next when they host Alden-Conger for a A Section 2 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Martin County West will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 84-45 non-league win over Rochester STEM Academy (Rochester, MN). The Knights record now stands at 11-12.
