With the win, Memorial Lutheran upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The host Living Stones Christian (Alvin, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 1A District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Eagles play the Brazosport Christian Eagles (Lake Jackson, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 8 bout, on Monday, February 5. Second Baptist University-Model will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 20-3 record after their 60-24 league win over Family Christian (Houston, TX).
