Nevada High School Basketball - Pyramid Lake nudges Mineral County

February 1, 2024: Nixon, NV 89424

In Thursday's league outing, the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) basketball squad edged the visiting Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), by a margin of 65-63.

The Lakers (12-10) will now prepare for their outing against Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV). The Warriors go into the 1A West outing with a 1-16 record.

The Serpents now own a 14-10 record. They play next when they host Virginia City for a 1A West bout on Friday, February 2. Mineral County will play a Muckers squad coming off a 62-22 league win over Sage Ridge (Reno, NV). The Muckers record now stands at 15-4.
