The Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) basketball felled the host St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI), 53-33 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Bears go into the Mid-State test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Ashley was beaten by Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI), 66-25, in a league test.
