Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) and the visiting Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), saw Warwick's basketball squad hold off Monticello by a count of 52-47.

With the victory, Warwick upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Cornwall Central won 59-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Sullivan West Bulldogs (Lake Huntington, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 78-73 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, NY).
