The Springdale Prep Lions basketball team (New Windsor, MD), dropped 86-66 in Thursday's league battle with the host Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD)
The Warriors now sport a 23-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Creek Christian Academy White for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 3. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 68-53 non-league win over Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 20-7.
The Lions (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against DC International (Washington, DC). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 13-12 record. In their last battle, DC International prevailed over Washington Latin Public Charter School (Washington, DC), 53-39, in a league battle.
