In Thursday's league outing, the Prospect Cougars (Prospect, OR) basketball squad felled the visiting North Lake Cowboys (Silver Lake, OR), by a margin of 60-48.
The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Central Christian (Redmond, OR). The Tigers go into the 1A Mountain Valley outing with a 5-12 record. In their last outing, Central Christian thwarted Gilchrist (Gilchrist, OR), 65-20, in a league outing.
The Cowboys now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Gilchrist for a 1A Mountain Valley outing on Friday, February 2. North Lake will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 65-20 league loss to Central Christian (Redmond, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-12.
