Waupaca Comets (Waupaca, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oconto Falls Panthers (Oconto Falls, WI), 60-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Waupaca upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Comets travel to Berlin (Berlin, WI) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Berlin lost 76-65 in their recent league bout against Waupun (Waupun, WI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Denmark Vikings (Denmark, WI) in a North Eastern bout, on Monday, February 5. Oconto Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 62-53 league win over Luxemburg-Casco (Luxemburg, WI).
