Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Louis Park overwhelmed by Orono

The Orono Spartans basketball team scored 90 points and restricted the visiting St. Louis Park Orioles to 62 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaska for a AAAA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Orono will battle a Hawks team coming off a 76-73 non-league loss to Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 6-12.
The Orioles (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Waconia (Waconia, MN). The Wildcats come into the AAAA Section 2 contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Waconia triumphed over Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN), 83-75, in a non-league contest.
