Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) and the visiting Regent Prep (Tulsa, OK), saw Sequoyah's basketball squad knock off Regent Prep by a count of 54-37.

With the victory, Sequoyah upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Wagoner (Wagoner, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-8.

Next up, the play the Mingo Valley Christian Eagles (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Regent Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 69-61 non-league loss to Glencoe (Glencoe, OK).
