Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) and the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), saw Rich Township's basketball squad overcome Thornwood by a tally of 68-59.
With the victory, Rich Township improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL) to confront the Bengals in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 11-14. Oak Forest won 73-62 in their recent league challenge against Argo (Summit, IL)
Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) in a Southland battle, on Tuesday, February 6. Thornwood will attempt to better on its 11-14 season record. The Kays come into the battle with a 20-3 record after their 66-57 league win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).
