In Thursday's league outing, the Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR), by a margin of 75-39.
The Pioneers (22-1) will now prepare for their outing against Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, Santiam Christian smashed Scio (Scio, OR), 67-63, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Regis for a 2A Tri-River outing on Friday, February 2. Santiam will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 70-67 league loss to Willamina (Willamina, OR). The Rams record now stands at 19-2.
