Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 65-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Galena upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Reed (Sparks, NV) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 2-19. Reed lost 61-50 in their recent league bout against Carson (Carson City, NV)

Next up, the Senators play the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a bout, on Monday, February 5. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Miners come into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 51-13 non-league loss to Reno (Reno, NV).
