Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA), 44-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Casa Grande upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Gauchos travel to Vintage (Napa, CA) to play the Crushers in a bout on Saturday, February 3. The Crushers go into the bout with a record of 9-12.

Next up, the Dragons play the Napa Grizzlies (Napa, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, February 3. Sonoma Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 68-34 league loss to Foothill (Pleasanton, CA).
