The North Kingstown Skippers basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Cumberland Clippers to 36 in the Skippers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Skippers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cranston East for a contest on Tuesday, February 6. North Kingstown will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 59-19 non-league win over Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 10-1.

The Clippers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Barrington was routed by La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), 80-52, in a non-league contest.
