Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT) and the visiting Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT), saw Academy of Science and Innovation's basketball squad hold off Classical Magnet by a count of 43-38.

With the victory, Academy of Science and Innovation upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Ravens host Metropolitan Learning Center (Bloomfield, CT) to play the Dragons in a Capitol Region challenge on Monday, February 5. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Metropolitan Learning Center won 33-15 in their recent league challenge against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Classical Magnet will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 75-8 league loss to New Milford (New Milford, CT).
