Nebraska High School Basketball - Axtell can't hold off Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]

The Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the host Axtell Wildcats to 26 in the non-league victory on Thursday.

The now sport a 2-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elm Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 47-33 non-league win over Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE). The Buffaloes record now stands at 15-5.

The Wildcats (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Loomis (Loomis, NE). The Wolves come into the D1 District 9 contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Loomis was nudged by Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE), 62-32, in a non-league contest.
