The Barneveld Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Black Hawk Warriors to 47 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgewood for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Barneveld will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 76-54 league win over Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 17-3.

The Warriors (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wautoma (Wautoma, WI). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Wautoma prevailed over Nekoosa (Nekoosa, WI), 39-19, in a league contest.
