The Bayfield Trollers basketball team (Bayfield, WI), dropped 51-35 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Washburn Castle Guards (Washburn, WI)

The Castle Guards now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butternut for a Northern Lights battle on Monday, February 5. Washburn will battle a Midgets team coming off a 75-25 league loss to South Shore (Port Wing, WI). The Midgets record now stands at 15-5.

The Trollers (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against Mellen (Mellen, WI). The Granite Diggers come into the Northern Lights battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Mellen beat Lac Courte Oreilles (Hayward, WI), 63-34, in a league battle.
