Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Laurel Spartans (New Castle, PA), 61-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Beaver Falls upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Tigers host Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA) to clash with the Antelopes in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Antelopes go into the bout with a record of 17-1. Avonworth won 65-34 in their recent league bout against Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 bout, on Monday, February 5. Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record.
