Belgreen Bulldogs (Russellville, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, AL), 73-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Belgreen upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Phillips (Bear Creek, AL) to clash with the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-20. Phillips lost 64-23 in their recent non-league bout against Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Cherokee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Flame go into the bout with a 18-7 record after their 68-38 non-league loss to Alcorn Central (Glen, MS).
