Kentucky High School Basketball - Middlesboro overwhelmed by Bell County

The Bell County Bobcats basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Middlesboro Yellowjackets to 45 in the Bobcats league victory on Thursday.
The Bobcats now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockcastle County for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Bell County will battle a Rockets team coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 16-6.
The Yellowjackets (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Harlan (Harlan, KY). The Green Dragons come into the District 52 contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Harlan was routed by North Laurel (London, KY), 56-31, in a non-league contest.
