The Holdenville Wolverines (Holdenville, OK) basketball nipped the host Bethel Wildcats (Shawnee, OK), 61-59 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wolverines (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Konawa (Konawa, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Konawa was tipped by Turner (Burneyville, OK), 57-28, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Tecumseh for a North Canadian River test on Friday, February 2. Bethel will encounter a Savages squad coming off a 39-35 non-league win over McLoud (McLoud, OK). The Savages record now stands at 10-8.
