The Bears now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant Christian Academy for a 1A District 7 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Highland Baptist Christian will battle a Lions team coming off a 55-36 league win over Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA). The Lions record now stands at 17-8.

The Tigers (11-16) will now prepare for their battle against Cecilia (Cecilia, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 4A District 5 battle with a 7-15 record. In their last battle, Cecilia dropped by Port Barre (Port Barre, LA), 47-31, in a non-league battle.
