The Lenawee Christian Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Britton Deerfield Patriots to 45 in the Cougars league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quincy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Lenawee Christian will battle a Orioles team coming off a 46-33 non-league win over Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI). The Orioles record now stands at 2-10.

The Patriots (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Whiteford (Ottawa Lake, MI). The Bobcats come into the Tri-County contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Whiteford was defeated by Summerfield (Petersburg, MI), 43-36, in a league contest.
