In Thursday's non-league match, the host Northwestern Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 43-20 triumph over the Bucklin-Macon County Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Hardin-Central Bulldogs (Hardin, MO) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 6. Northwestern will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 10-10 record after their 31-26 non-league win over Kingsville (Kingsville, MO).
