The South Shore Cardinals basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Butternut Midgets to 25 in the Cardinals league victory on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Drummond for a Northern Lights contest on Monday, February 5. South Shore will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 55-36 league win over Mercer (Mercer, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 14-4.

The Midgets (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Washburn (Washburn, WI). The Castle Guards come into the Northern Lights contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Washburn triumphed over Bayfield (Bayfield, WI), 51-35, in a league contest.
