The Carver Panthers (Atlanta, GA) basketball knocked off the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), 54-35 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-18 record. In their last test, Pebblebrook went down by East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA), 49-31, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Etowah for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Sandy Creek will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 42-37 league loss to Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-11.
