Cedar Reds (Cedar City, UT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT), 59-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Cedar upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Reds travel to Snow Canyon (St. George, UT) to clash with the Warriors in a 4A Region 9 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 17-1. Snow Canyon won 60-46 in their recent league bout against Pine View (St. George, UT)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT) in a 4A Region 9 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Crimson Cliffs will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 57-43 league win over Hurricane (Hurricane, UT).
