The Comets enter the game with a 12-8 record after their 58-21 non-league win over Community Christian (Paducah, KY).

With the defeat, St. Mary moves to 4-16 on the year. The Vikings host Community Christian (Paducah, KY) to face the Warriors in a District 2 game on Friday, February 2. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 4-13. Community Christian lost 43-33 in their recent non-league game against Hickman County (Clinton, KY)
