Clements Colts (Athens, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL), 61-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clements upgrades its record to 18-7 on the season. The Colts host Elkmont (Elkmont, AL) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 13-15. Elkmont won 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Hatton (Town Creek, AL)

Next up, the Golden Bears play the Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 16-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 35-27 non-league loss to Colbert County (Leighton, AL).
