Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) and the visiting Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL), saw Colbert County's basketball squad knock off Sheffield by a count of 35-27.

With the victory, Colbert County upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Danville (Danville, AL) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-15. Danville won 45-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Sheffield will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
