In Thursday's non-league outing, the Danville Hawks (Danville, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL), by a margin of 45-22.
The Hawks (13-15) will now prepare for their outing against Colbert County (Leighton, AL). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, Colbert County smashed Sheffield (Sheffield, AL), 35-27, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Evangel Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. Covenant Christian will clash with a Lightning squad coming off a 41-40 league win over Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Lightning record now stands at 15-7.
