The Crestview Cougars basketball team scored 34 points and held the host St. Paul Flyers to 33 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mapleton for a Firelands contest on Saturday, February 3. Crestview will meet a Mounties team coming off a 43-37 league loss to Plymouth (Plymouth, OH). The Mounties record now stands at 10-8.
The Flyers (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Plymouth (Plymouth, OH). The Big Red enter the Firelands contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Plymouth nudged Mapleton (Ashland, OH), 43-37, in a league contest.
