St. Croix Falls Saints (St. Croix Falls, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cumberland Beavers (Cumberland, WI), 69-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Croix Falls upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Saints host Cameron (Cameron, WI) to play the Comets in a Heart O'North bout on Saturday, February 3. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 14-4. Cameron won 46-32 in their recent league bout against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI)

Next up, the Beavers play the Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI) in a Heart O'North bout, on Saturday, February 3. Cumberland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record. The Oredockers come into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 42-26 league win over Spooner (Spooner, WI).
