Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) and the host Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA), saw West Branch's basketball squad wallop Curwensville by a margin of 49-18.

The Warriors (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Glendale (Flinton, PA). The Vikings go into the Moshannon Valley outing with a 6-15 record. In their last outing, Glendale was trounced by Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA), 60-15, in a league outing.

The Golden Tide now own a 0-16 record. They play next when they travel to Moshannon Valley for a Moshannon Valley outing on Monday, February 5. Curwensville will encounter a Black Knights/Damsels squad coming off a 57-45 league loss to Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels record now stands at 7-9.
