Hibbing Bluejackets (Hibbing, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN), 68-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hibbing upgrades its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Bluejackets travel to North Branch (North Branch, MN) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 5-14. North Branch lost 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against Becker (Becker, MN)

Next, the Hunters encounter the Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN) in a AAA Section 7 test, on Monday, February 5. Denfeld will attempt to advance on its 3-20 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the test with a 12-10 record after their 67-65 league win over Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN).
