Des Moines Christian Lions (Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Interstate 35 Roadrunners (Truro, IA), 51-15 in a league bout.

With the win, Des Moines Christian upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Panorama (Panora, IA) to clash with the Panthers in a West Central bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 20-0. Panorama won 70-48 in their recent league bout against Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA)

Next up, the Roadrunners clash with the Madrid Tigers (Madrid, IA) in a West Central bout, on Friday, February 2. Interstate 35 will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 42-36 non-league win over Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA).
